This is a free public dump point; to access turn north off the Zeehan Highway at the north-eastern entrance to Zeehan, onto Parker Street. The dump point is approximately 250 metres on the right – you will see a sign on the fence indicating the location of the Dump Point Zeehan. You can also visit the fascinating Pioneer and Railway Museums, the pioneer cemetery, the Spray Tunnel, Reece Dam, Granville Harbour and Trial Harbour on the west coast, being only a relatively short drive from Zeehan. The park managers are helpful and will provide you with information about the local attractions and surrounding wilderness. Zeehan is a 1 hr 50-min drive (150 km) south-west of Burnie, and a 40-min drive (50 km) north-east of the small fishing and tourist town Strahan. Rosebery and Tullah are other small regional centres near Zeehan.
